Join Sharon from Calligraphy and the City in this two-and-a-half-hour Christmas calligraphy special! You will learn the beautiful lettering technique of modern calligraphy in time to use your Christmas stationery!
Suitable for beginners, this workshop will show you how to prepare and hold the oblique pen with a metal nib. Starting with the basic strokes, you will quickly appreciate the mindful benefits of this fun and trendy lettering style of modern calligraphy. You’ll learn how each letter is formed from those strokes, working through the alphabet, and how to connect letters and form words. You will then put your new skills to use making Christmas tags, personalised Christmas crackers and cards.
A starter calligraphy pack (RRP£20) is included in the ticket price, meaning you can continue your calligraphy journey after the class.
