What's your favourite thing about the festive season?

The joyousness in the air.

The celebration of it all.

It’s fabulous.

Name one thing that you'd encourage others to do over this festive season.

Enjoy the build up to Christmas. Enjoy it instead of finding it stressful because Christmas Day is always a bit of an anti-climax. But the days leading up to it are wonderful. So, treasure them.

What does MerseyMade mean to you?

It means a lot to me. It’s given me a home from home. It’s given me focus and drive. I threw myself feet first into running the business full time again, especially after moving back to Liverpool from Brighton and leaving my shop behind. But I’m glad I did. Sometimes you have to take a path you didn’t quite expect.

How do you express your creative side?

I walk around town, soaking in the architecture, the history. Liverpool is great for that. It always offers inspiration.

Because creativity doesn’t always have to be external, sometimes you just need to see things in a different light.

What's the best present you've ever given and why?

I once gave a fragment of sixteenth century Tibetan carpet to somebody, that was definitely the most expensive present I’ve ever given. But the best gift is your time. Enjoying yourself with those who you chose to surround yourself with, living your best life. It’s why I love the build up to Christmas so much, it’s an excuse to meet up with everybody.
