Advent Day 12 – Turncoat Gin

Behind this door, we have the whole Turncoat team! And a whole lot of different takes on Christmas. 

With one of our favourite present stories, a bizarre Christmas dinner offering and a whole lot of creative ideas, they’ve served us up a treat. Just like they do with their delectable gin.

What's your favourite thing about the festive season?

The food. We don't have the most traditional Christmas Dinner, and the one thing we have to have is leeks in Cheese Sauce. If it isn't there, a member of the family will get very upset! It is the best bit of the Christmas Dinner.

Start a new Christmas tradition, We seem to add a new tradition every year and the day has become a lot longer.

What does MerseyMade mean to you?

Giving the small guys like us a chance on the high street.

How do you express your creative side?

I paint, draw, make candles and wax melts to stay creative outside of work. It's a great way to practice self-care and engage the kids.

What's the best present you've ever given and why?

This isn't for Christmas, but for my grandmother's 80th present my siblings and I joined together to get her something special. We had a necklace engraved with her initials alongside my late grandfather's. He would always buy her jewellery and that was the first piece she had been bought since he passed away.
