Advent Day 15 – Sue Dunlop

If you’re a regular, we’re sure by now you know and love Sue as much as we do.

After much persuasion to get this fabulous photo taken, Sue sat down with us to tell us all about the festive fun she has planned with her friends and family.

What's your favourite thing about the festive season?

Family gatherings and lots of alcohol.

You can't go wrong with those two around the festive period, can you?

Name one thing that you'd encourage others to do over this festive season.

Have get togethers and see family and friends.

We've missed so much important time with them with recent events and it will be so nice to catch up with them all.

Quality time with important people really lifts your spirits.

What does MerseyMade mean to you?

It’s all local. With everything coming from within 50 miles of the shop.

It has that small, family feeling, which most shops don't manage to achieve.

I really love it. It's the exact atmosphere I look for in a space.

How do you express your creative side?

I draw and paint at home. I painted my daughter’s wall with Cherry Blossoms and collaged the space with pictures, CDs and keyrings.

It sounds crazy but it looks amazing.

What's the best present you've ever given and why?

I love giving nice presents. It takes me ages to find a present. I don’t just impulse buy. It takes me a while to find them. They need to be personal, mean something.
