If you’ve brought a dog into MerseyMade, there’s a good chance you’ll have met our Marketing Assistant Megan.
Really excited to be heading back to her family this Christmas, Megan told us how she plans on having the best time, wrapping presents and making candles.
The busy calmness you get when you're rushing from house to house but you're still having an amazing time.
And wrapping presents, with bows and ribbons, festive music on in the background and an oat milk hot chocolate. It's bliss.
Stop scrolling Instagram and comparing your festive plans to others. There's a good chance that the amazing event they're at has cost them way more than they'd care to disclose, or that they don't actually like the present they won't stop talking about.
Just focus on you and those around you. It will make for a much nicer Christmas.
MerseyMade is all about supporting the underdog. Of giving someone a chance to really chase their dream. We see so many people come in with amazing stuff that just hasn't taken off yet for whatever reason, and our customers eat it up.
They're great, the customers, because they support our artists, sometimes without even having met them. They support their dreams and ambitions. And you can't often say that working in retail.
I'm useless at drawing and painting, I leave that to the professionals. It's writing where I flourish. So when I'm in a bit of a creative rut, I usually sit looking angrily at my phone, pouring my heart and soul out on my notes page before deleting it.
It's a good way to restart my creative flow and make sure that I'm not holding onto any toxicity as I carry on my day.
It's hard to pick a good present I've given, I think that's totally subjective. I always put a lot of energy into presents so I'd like to think all are loved.
I've made a lot of candles this year, which I'm hoping will go down well.
But if I had to pick one, I'd probably say the Versace bag I got my stepmum last year. I found it for an absolute bargain and thought it was about time to repay her for all of the clothes I've stolen off of her over the years.
