Beginner Modern Calligraphy Brush Pen Workshop

Learn modern brush pen calligraphy with Sharon from Calligraphy and the City, here in Liverpool city centre, in this 2.5 hour introductory workshop and learn this beautiful lettering technique in our workshop space.

The workshop takes place on Saturday the 23rd of March from 1:30pm – 4:00pm. This workshop is designed for beginners, even if you have bad handwriting this course is still for you. During the workshop you will be shown how to hold and care for your brush pens. Starting with the basic strokes you will quickly appreciate the mindful benefits of this fun and on trend lettering style of modern calligraphy. You’ll then learn how each letter is formed from a combination of those basic strokes, working through the alphabet as shapes. Then we move onto connecting letters and forming words. We will then put your new skills to use, making greeting cards and gift tags.

The cost of the workshop is £55. This includes 2.5 hour workshop, a hot drink and cake, and also your take home starter calligraphy pack (RRP £25), meaning you can continue your calligraphy journey after the class. What’s included in you pack
