Joy in January

Today, we say no to the January blues, we’re not having it!

Instead, we’re focusing on what brings us joy and hope to inspire you too.

January isn’t always the easiest month, so we want to support you in having the happiest time you possibly can.

We’ve come up with just a few ideas to kickstart you on a week of positivity.

Smile

Smiling is an obvious one but sometimes we forget the power it holds.

Not only does it boost our mood, but it uplifts those around us.

So, find something to smile about, smile at strangers, dogs and your local barista. There’s no reason not to!

Give Meaningful Compliments

Tell your friend you’re proud of them, that you’re grateful for them being around and you couldn’t imagine your life without them. Tell them what they really mean to you.

Because meaningful compliments have incredible powers. They can uplift a mood with ease and stick in someone’s mind.

So, the next time your friend feels low, your comment might be a reminder that they are worth so much more than that feeling. That they deserve joy. And there’s nothing more powerful than giving others the ability to see their true worth.

Meet Friends

Surround yourself with those you love and who love you. Those who uplift and support you, who listen to you and call your bluff when needs be.

And with a group like that, you can be assured that your low mood won’t stick around too long when you grab them for a cuppa.

Create

To create is to be free, to explore your own story and to discover new and exciting passions.

Write, paint, build, MAKE! Lean into the potential that creativity offers and see what you find.

Creativity takes courage.

Storms Will Pass

Look back and see what you have achieved in the face of adversity. How you have blossomed when everything was against you.

The storm passed once before, and it will pass again.

And you will continue to get stronger and wiser as a result.

Because negative events are not simply bad, they offer us a chance to change things up, whether it’s our circumstances or our outlook. They offer us opportunities to grow and treat ourselves with more kindness.

We are stronger than we think. And every so often, it’s goof to remember that.
